CRM 2015 Workflow Orders

I've created a workflow which clears a couple of fields when a record is re-activated and the status becomes Active again, one date field and one look-up field.  Upon testing, when this workflow is triggered it is clearing the look-up field but the date field ends up with today's date in it. 

The field itself is a locked field so cannot be edited by users.

I have one other workflow activated which automatically enters today's date in this field when a record is discontinued.  Is it possible that this workflow could be superseding the one which clears the date field?  Does CRM have workflow orders of priority?
