Switching 'Incoming Email' setting from "Server-Side Synchronization or Email Router" to "Forward Mailbox"

Our CRM implmentation is CRM Only 2015 Update 1.1.

We recently found out that approximately 110 users were added to CRM with the Incoming Email set to 'Server-Side Synchronization or Email Router".  Before we update these users to use 'Forward Mailbox',  I wanted to check with other folks to see if there are any known issues that we should be aware of.
