Managed solution not able to remove tab from target environment.

Hi,

When i try to remove/hide what's new tab from from contact entity and export as managed solution and then import same managed solution to  other environment then it does not remove/hide tab from this environment.

I also modified solutionaction to remove in customization.xml file, but no luck so far.

I don't want to touch form editor of target environment

Any help appreciated.
