We have a client who wants certain cases and all their associated activities to be visible only to certain staff member.
We have achieved this for the cases and for all activities added to the case via the Browser. However, when an email is linked to the case using the Outlook client, this security is broken. What I mean is that an email received into Outlook and then getting its regarding record set does not obey the Security rules that an email sent through the Browser client does.
My question is what events happen when an email in Outlook is linked to a regarding record?
