Alternative/workaround to roll-up based on another roll up field

Hi All

I need to have an aggregate field which is basically the sum of a roll-up field in a child entity. I know MS Dynamics CRM does not permit to have a roll-up field based on another roll-up field.

What are the alternatives/workaround? It seems to be some serious limitation of Dynamics CRM.
