Creating a self-updating list

I would like to create a list of accounts with criterias that removes automatically from the list if there is activity (phone, appointment) within the last 6 month.

Would should I be using to create this list Account View? A Marketing List?

I should note that I am a beginner level user to Microsoft CRM Dynamics
