As a result of configuration, Product is a child entity of a Product Group entity that has been created. On the two forms I'm using this on, it is a requirement to only show Products related to the above Product Group based on the 1:N relationship created for Product Group:Product.
By using the "Only show records where:" filter on the Product field's properties, clicking "Look for more records" shows the filtered list of Products, but using the lookup field itself does not display filtered results and shows all Products.
I've checked with colleagues and we're assuming this may be a product bug, given that Product is an OOTB entity and my parent entity is custom, although this shouldn't really matter - has anyone else come across this bug? If so, what do you suggest as a solution?
Of course we can fix it using a web resource, but I'd prefer to use configuration if possible, given that this is an OOTB feature that should work, and does work for all other configurations of this type.
