We recently upgraded from CRM 2011 to CRM 2015. When creating a note, it was very convenient that the title of the note was automatically created in this format:
"Note created on MM/DD/YYYY H:MM PM by [username]"
In CRM 2015, the title is blank unless manually created. Many users are creating notes without titles. What happens is we have no historical reference of when the note was created, because the modified date at the bottom of the note immediately changes when someone clicks on the note, even if they did not change any of the text.
As a feature request, could Microsoft consider adding the auto-title structure back? Or if it's unintended, may it be fixed in an update?
Even if it's intended, having the option to change the note title is one thing, but put the auto-creation with date/time and user like before and if we need to change it, we will.
