How to separate sql server from existing crm server to a seprate sql server and then access the CRM from that

Hi all,

I am trying to change the SQL database to a different server.

First while configuring CRM i used sql server and crm in a single server. so now i want to change the sql server separately and crm server separately.

So i created a child domain to the crm server and have installed sql in that child server. and have done all the steps that is published by the Microsoft dynamic crm site

But i am unable to access the db that i have configured in the child domain.

So how to over come this and connect CRM to the SQL that i have installed in the Child domain

please assist.
