This is for CRM 2015 update 1 on premise.
What is the best way or how to allow users to multiple 1 opportunity into multiple opportunities?
Example,
We track opportunities based on various departments, so if a prospect requires several services from our company, we will create as many opportunities as the services are required. Then we reassign those opportunities to their various departments.
So in order for the creator/initiator to mass create the opportunities, we have few options
1. From account, click button to create opportunity, the screen allows users to select which department need the opportunity, enter the basic info, click save, the X number of opportunities will be created
2. After creating 1 opportunity (some that there is basic info), then click on a button to select the various departments, click save & mass create those opportunities.
3. Is have a clone opportunity & clone 1 at a time - This already there are blogs. We are looking at the other 2 options.
Anybody any ideas?
