In our integration with Microsoft USD we have mapped our own "sessions" with USD sessions. That means each new session from our side will trigger an USD session and open it in a dedicated tab.
However, there are components that are "visually" linked to the new USD session (because they are scoped within our own session) that will simply disappear if the user closes the USD session in the UI. We see that the API, in the SessionClose event, allows us to "invalidate" the session close however this is only a logical operation since the UI is closed anyway. The end result is that all UI components associated with this session will simply be unavailable - this is a big no-no...
The workaround of "cleaning up" our side of the deal is not always possible, since we will not, for example, hangup a phone call and cleanup all associated data because the user (possibly by accident) closed a session tab.
So, the question is: Is it possible to block users from closing an USD session tab?
