This was a very useful feature in the DOM. It enabled an individual option in a set to be disabled when it became obsolete or was not relevant to context.
The feature allowed existing data to be viewed that already had the option, but the option could not be selected for new data.
This is often the case in business where new options replace existing options.
This feature should be supported by CRM.
