Synchronize more fields from Active Directory

Dear reader,

even though I'm pretty sure the info is there, I couldn't find any usable about this quest (too general search terms).

Any of you have experience in retreiving more fields from Active Directory when creating a new systemuser (AD 2008r2, Dynamcis CRM 2016 on premise)? We store more interesting info in AD and need to find a way to get that synced automatically when creating the user.
