Look up link connection not appearing on child record

Hello Everyone,

I created a look up link from a child record to the parent(Contact). I am bringing in data using Scribe, Scribe is creating the contact record and then the child record. The look up link to the child record is appearing on the contact form but when you go to the child record the look up link is blank.

Any ideas as to why this would be happening and how to fix the problem?
