(CRM 2011 upgrading to CRM 2015 On-premises)
In my 2011 environment, from the Invoice form we were able to view related activities from the related records area in the left nav. My assumption would be that this is using the 1:N relationship Invoice : Activity Pointer though when I try and confirm this I get "No metadata available for this relationship".
Following an upgrade to 2015 I can no longer access the relationship in the related records view?
When I inspect the relationships from the invoice entity I can see the activity pointer relationship is set as Do Not Display and greyed out. This is the same as it was in 2011. So am thinking that in 2011 this is not the Invoice : Activity Pointer relationship and perhaps a special relationship not surfaced in the UI?
Activities are still enabled for the Invoice entity and I can access the relationship, and as such the related activities, by adding a sub-grid to the form, so the relationship obviously exists.
I would like to understand if anyone knows why it's no longer possible to view the related activities for an invoice in the way I could in 2011?
