I have a request from a client who would like not to store data in CRM online. They would like CRM to do a real time look up for accounts, so when they go to an account view or account detail, CRM would make a real time call and retrieve the data from another system. They mentioned that this functionality exists in Salesforce, but I haven't seen anything to indicate this is possible in CRM without a ton of complications and custom code. Anyone have insight into real time look ups? Have you done this or would you recommend it? Thank you.
