How to handle several competitors in an opportunity

Hi everyone,

I have small doubts how the CRM handles the competitors within one opportunity. 

Let's say I add competitors A and B to my open opportunity. The opportunity will appear as open on both competitors page. Up to now, everything is fine.

 Now I loose the opportunity against competitor A. When closing the opportunity, a new window pops up where you can enter different informations, one being the competitor against you loose. I enter competitor A.

I go on competitor A page and the opportunity appears as lost (lost against A). And on competitor B as well! The opportunity is lost as well on its page.

Question is simple: what happens?
