We use CRM 2013 On Premise and the outlook connector to track emails in CRM. In the leads forms(let's call the new lead person1) we have a section for Referral where we add one of our employees(lets' call it person2) that referred the lead. When we have this section populated, the contact details will change in Outlook Address Book and will affect Lync too. So the person2(the existing employee/referrer) will keep the picture and email address but the name will change to the person1(the new contact). Same thing happens with the Outlook contacts. This also happens if I run a test using my email address but the name Test Test. My name will change in Address book to Test Test
Is there any way this can be fixed?
