Assigning record in dialog causes access error

Hi all,

I have two parallel business units on the same level. Users can only see records of their own business unit.

I have created a dialog that creates a new record based on the selected one and assigns the new record to a user of another business unit. I understand that assigning the record to this selected user moves the record out of the scope of the actual user. But why does the dialog comes up with an error saying the record is not accessable? I thought this is running in background?

If this assignment is done manually by the 'Assign to'-Dialog, an error appears because the record should be reloaded and is no longer accessable by the user. In this case I understand the error message, but not in the dialog.

Any idea?
