Hi!A client has been using CRM with SharePoint integration for years now and it's working just fine. However, we recently discovered a problem with a custom entity.
By some reason, whenever they create a new Document Location in CRM from this custom entity it won't create the folder under the parent account, but instead it creates a new standalone folder in Sharepoint.
I'll try to illustrate it a little.
What I want CRM/Sharepoint to do:
/Sharepointsite/CRM/account/customer/customentity/new record
What it actually does:
/Sharepointsite/CRM/customentity/newrecord
So hierarchically it's now on the same level as account in Sharepoint, but not in CRM.
I've looked into every setting regarding Document Management, went through every guide, tried with all other custom entities (they work just fine with sharepoint, creating a doc location under the parent account), tried all different relation-types to account and even tried to perform a minor ritual but nothing seems to work.
Does anybody have a clue what could be the problem?
They use CRM 2011 and Sharepoint 2010, both On-premise.
