How To Restore Dynamics CRM sql backup, from production server to test server? (in Same Domain)

Hi Team,

We are using MS-Dynamics CRM 4.0 with sql DB 2005 (Production server), we are in the process of upgrade version from 4.0 to 2015 version, so for the safer side we are planing to shift server with in same domain.

For your information: the production server has sql server 2005 version and new server has sql 2008 version.

Please provide me step by step procedure to fix this.
