Can i resize the areas in the business process workflows?

I'm customizing the process workflow for working an opportunity and i find the area i have available is really narrow and it's difficult to select fields.  (See image attached to this).  Is there any easy way i can change this so the areas are wider? i only have like 3 fields in this stage of the process.  no idea why it's so small.
