When merging two accounts is there a system/business rule that indicates one of the accounts cannot have open proposals on it? I'm merging two accounts and get the error message: 'Active Proposal Error: These records cannot be merged. The subordinate record is associated with one or more active quotes.'
Do I need to close all open/active proposals before merging these records? If so, why does this business rule exist?
