Back button not working in the Dynamics Model Driven App from the page that has WebResource iFrame

Hello,

I am running into issue to have the Back button working as usual from the form that has iFrame with some custom scripts. I came across this below article that explains the cause for this,however not sure how to implement the changes recommended as I could not interpret the scripts that get triggered on click of the 'back' button.

Does anyone run into the same issue. Not sure if this is still a known bug by Microsoft or we need to implement custom code to address this issue.
