We are using Dynamics CRM Online 2015. I recently got an e-mail from Microsoft to schedule an update for CRM Online 2016.
I do have some questions about it, that I couldn't easily find the answers for online.
In the Microsoft KB it talks about using sandboxes to test updates and if all errors are resolved, to schedule it.
However, we do not have any sandboxes (or any other instances), just the production instance. We do have a fair amount of custom workflows, processes, entities, plugins etc.
My question is; What will happen if the update fails?
I suppose you'll get an error message, the CRM stays at 2015 and you can reschedule again?
