We have recently upgraded a client from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2015.
Many years ago (after CRM 4.0 was in place) the company changed their domain (there are now two) and all users were moved to the new domain.
In CRM, all the user records we updated to re-map the domain name to their new one (i.e. changed each user record from domain\user to newdomain\user)
This has been fine for years. However since the upgrade, there is one user, who connects via VPN. And for some reason CRM will only recognise him under the old domain user account. He has used this same VPN for years, and there were no issues with CRM 4.0. However since the upgrade, he cannot login as his user, unless we deactivate his new user on the new domain and activate a 'different user record' that uses his old domain login. It is only this one user, others using VPN are fine.
Has anyone faced this before?
