User Saved view on Appointment

I have a custom user saved view that i use on advanced find on Appointment entity. This has conditions for all appointments for the past month.

Now, i've been asked to add phone calls to this saved view. Will i have to create the saved view on Acitivity entity or can i somehow call all phone calls through the Appointment related fields? Any pointers?
