How to update a parent record in a workflow in Before Delete Event

Hi,

I would like to update a parent record in a real-time workflow in BeforeDelete Event.

Ex. on Delete of contact update a field in a Parent Account

I created a test workflow with 2 conditions and while testing I realized, that my workflow does not update the parent record. Then I removed all conditions and kept only the update line for the parent record. While testing the workflow, I found that it still does not make any changes to the parent record.

Could you please suggest if "Record is deleted" condition works in CRM Online at this moment? Could you please help me to configure this rule for updating a parent record on a delete of a child record?

Just for testing purposes, I have also triggered the workflow on Status changed and it worked as expected....
