I'm not sure anyone will be able to help me, because we are using an application that is built on top of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and so this issue may be with that application...
Some of our workflows are executing repeatedly. We turned auditing on for the fields that the workflows are triggered on. When we look at the Audit History for those fields, the fields have indeed changed multiple times, but the field was "changed" to the same value it previously stored.
This is happening on a few workflows. What they have in common is:
- The workflows are triggered on the update of a field that is mapped from another entity. For example a custom field in the Contact entity, whose value comes from another entity.
- The workflows have Time Out statements
Has anyone who is using Microsoft Dynamics CRM itself (i.e. not with an application built on top it it) experienced this?
