Hi,
can somebody give me advise how to handle alias addresses in Dynamics CRM 2011?
I am loading many Group mail boxes via email router via POP3.
I have Setup a Queue for the Primary smtp of the POP3 postbox. But for this postboxes various aliases exist.
E.g. test1@xyz.com = Primary, test1@zzz.com = alias, test1@xxx.com = alias ...
E-mails sent to an alias are not being loaded and an error is being logged in Event Viewer telling that the E-Mail can't be loaded since no Queue for that address exists.
So I set up "fake Queues" for the alias addresses, to be able to load the mails and then I Forward them via workflow to the correct addresses.
This works quite good, but now all these "fake Queues" are displayed to our advisors as well, which is quite a mess.
Is there any other supported way solving this? Or is there a possibility to hide these Queues?
