Managing Access to Activate/Deactivate the custom work area

I created a custom work area in crm 2015 online version. Based on the logging user's security role the custom work area should appear

Work area not having any entities and it has tagged one html web resource(should not add any entity in work area)

1.    In which event will write the code for finding the logging user security role.

2.    Based on security role how will hide the work area.

Please guide me .
