How to show/move entity field to another entity

Hi,

I have created auto increment number for my opportunity and it is working fine. Now I want to show this number in related Order,Invoice,Quote etc. Currently in related Order,Invoice,Quote have opportunity lookup field but I need click to open opportunity then look for my opportunity number. So how can I show the opportunity number in those entities?

I Googled and got some idea about mapping. But not sure it will help
