When qualifying a new lead a new Opportunity is created along with a New Account and a Primary Contact. The Primary Contact's "Business Phone" becomes the New Accounts "Main Phone". If you add a second contact to the Account the contacts "Business Phone" auto populates with the Accounts "Main Phone". If you fail to catch this the second contact will now have the primary contact's same phone number.
Most leads come in with the prospects direct line. So in this scenario the Accounts and 2nd contact's phone number is a direct line to the primary contact?
I was hoping to add a second field to the lead that will allow the Corporate Number to carry from the lead to the Account when the lead is promoted.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
