Our organization currently has a CRM 2015 Online Update 1 implementation. We are going to evaluate CRM 2016 on-prem and we are hoping that we could request a copy of our CRM 2015 Online database and connect the CRM 2016 to this database.
We are trying to avoid provisioning a 2015 on-prem instance and updating it to 2016.
