I have tens of thousands of products and I have deactivated those that are not active. However, this only deactivates them as a product and they still show in the product view (product in parent price list) when creating an opportunity, quote or order. I know this is because they still have an associated price list item. My temporary work around was to put a status for each product in the view. I know the long term solution needs to remove the inactive products associated price list item. Since price list item views cannot be created or edited I have no way to search for price list items that have associated inactive products so I can delete them. Does anyone have a workaround?
If I export all deactivated price list items and clear the column with the default price list, will this remedy the situation?
